Day: 1 Broome | Embarkation.
Day 2-7: The Kimberley Coast | The Expedition Leader and Captain will set course depending on tide, weather and sea conditions, intending to visit Nares Point and Crocodile Creek.
Our first stop for zodiac exploration, beach walks and swimming at Talbot Bay (Horizontal Falls), Buccaneer Archipelago. Tides of close to 36 feet (or nearly 11m) create an amazing spectacle and an exhilarating zodiac ride.
Montgomery Reef is over 400 square miles (1035 km2) in size rising from the sea up to 4m during the amazing tidal changes that take place here. Zodiacs excursions to the edge of the reef make a visit to Montgomery Reef which is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
Raft Point A hike ashore to the rock art gallery of Wandjina paintings.
Hunter River A zodiac visit to the immense mangrove system home to saltwater crocodile and an optional helicopter flightseeing excursion to the famous Mitchell Falls.
Jar Island – Vansittart Bay A hike ashore here to the outdoor rock art gallery of Bradshaw Art, also known as Gwion Art, one of the three distinctive styles of rock art in the Kimberley region.
King George River & Falls Zodiac up this waterway, weaving through an amazing landscape of near vertical red rock formations to the 80m high twin cascades of King George Falls.
Day 8: Wyndham (Bungle Bungle) | Gateway to the breathtaking Bungle Bungle mountain range in Purnululu National Park, a World Heritage Site with our inclusive overflight for an aerial view of this spectacular area
Day 9-10: Leti Island, Southern Maluku, Indonesia | We cruise the Arafura sea to the three islands of Leti, Moa and Lakor, home to ~20,000 inhabitants and one of the few matrilineal cultures in Indonesia.
Day 11: Darwin | Your cruise ends after breakfast.
