The 55m catamaran Fiji Princess fully refurbished in 2014 for just 68 guests, 34 air-conditioned cabins on 3 decks with twin or double beds, en-suite bathrooms and picture windows. Generous shaded upper deck and bar, a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and boutique. This amazing cruise experience combines the 3 and 4 night itineraries, covering the full length of the magnificent Yasawa Island chain as well as Modriki and the Sacred Islands. Sports fishing and SCUBA diving are available as optional extras.
Itinerary highlights
●● Yasawa Island village with traditional kava ceremony and a meke performance
●● Full day relaxing at our private beach on Nanuya Lailai Island
●● Learn the Fijian arts of basket weaving, wood carving and learn to cook Fijian dishes
●● Snorkel at some of Fiji’s most colourful reefs or see the coral reef without getting wet from our glass bottom boat
●● Swim in the caverns of the scared Sawa i Lau Caves
Day 1: Port Denarau – Modriki Island | Embark, set sail and visit Modriki Island with evening cocktail party and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Modriki – Yasawa Island | Morning snorkel from Modriki sailing later to Yasawa Island for a village visit with kava ceremony. Sports fishing and diving trips from here. Indian evening meal, dancing and Bollywood movies.
Day 3: Yasawa – Narara Island | Day 3 is a Sunday with the chance to attend a traditional Fijian church service, learn basket weaving and cook Fijian dishes, go snorkelling or SCUBA dive, play Bingo, join the singing and dancing to the talented crew band.
Day 4: Narara – Sacred Island | An early morning fishing trip with crew and swimming, snorkelling and kayaking before sailing to the Sacred Islands for more of the same. Explorer passengers leave here and Wanderers join with Captains cocktail party and dinner afterwards. Crew entertainment to follow.
Day 5-6: Nanuya Lailai – Sawa i Lau Island | Nanuya Island home to Blue Lagoon’s private beach club for a full day of water sports or just relaxing. SCUBA dive here and in the evening a ‘Lovo’ meal followed by singing and dancing with the locals under the stars. Next morning a hike to Lo’s Tea Shop followed by basket weaving and wood carving demonstrations. SCUBA diving is again an option plus a guided reef snorkelling trip. After lunch cruising to Sawa i Lau Island with a visit to swim in the Sawa i Lau caves and a ‘yaqona’ ceremony and feast at Tamusua village.
Day 7: Drawaqa Island | Depending on the time of year either a visit to mantra ray feeding ground or a guided reef snorkeling safari with diving an option. Evening BBQ on the upper deck with music and dancing.
Day 8: Port Denarau | Your cruise ends with disembarkation after breakfast.
