Itinerary highlights
These cruises feature diving and snorkeling in the best of the magical underwater world that is the Indian Ocean with its unique granite boulder formations, coral reefs and wrecks home to colourful tropical fish, turtles, sharks, rays and many other species and are a must for all water sports enthusiasts and provide an ideal opportunity for those keen to learn to scuba dive as each vessel is certified as a PADI dive resort, and has a dedicated PADI dive instructor on board.
Day 1: Mahé to Round Island | Sailing pm from Mahé to Round Island for a welcome dinner aboard.
Day 2: Praslin | To Praslin and the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve.
Day 3: La Digue island | To La Digue island for bicycle tour of traditional island activities, including a copra mill,vanilla plantation, and shipyard plus the Anse Source d’Argent, the most photographed beach on earth.
Day 4: La Digue to Coco Island | In the morning a sail to and visit the Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur (the Sisters) for excellent snorkelling and diving at these unique and completely uninhabited tropical islands. In the afternoon, visit Coco Island, one of Seychelles’ tiny granite jewels for more fantastic snorkelling.
Day 5: Coco to Aride Island | Sail to Booby Island for morning diving/ water sports and after lunch to visit Aride Island famous its rare bird life and hike to a spectacular cliff-top view of the largest frigatebird roost outside of Aldabra.
Day 6: Aride to Curieuse Island | In the morning sail to and visit virtually uninhabited Curieuse Island exploring the island’s vast mangrove forests, giant tortoise farm and leper colony ruins. The rest of the day is for water sports or simply relaxing on the island’s beautiful beach and in its turquoise waters.
Day 7: Cruise to Port Victoria, Mahe | After breakfast a leisurely sail back to Mahé, with a last stop at Ile Seche for more snorkelling or diving and a farewell barbecue before the vessel sails into Port Victoria for an overnight stay disembarking.
