●● 5 days cruising the Ucayali river exploring the Amazon rainforest and the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve with expert guides on boat expeditions and on hikes to view wildlife and visit riverside villages and attractions.

Day 1-2: Lima / Iquitos | Arrive and overnight Lima with morning city tour then flight to Iquitos to board La Estralla Amazonica setting sail in the evening towards the confluence of the Amazon and Ucayali
Day 3-6: Pacaya-Semiria Reserve | During these days on the Ucayali river and tributaries the onboard expert team will provide regular briefings on the places, wildlife and attractions that are to be visited with expeditions by boat and on foot in search of some of the 450 bird species, 100+ mammals and 130 reptile species that can be found in this the worlds largest wet lands area additionally visits to local villages afford opportunities to learn something of life as lived here.
Expect to see myriad bird species including the iconic blue and gold macaws, many varieties of monkeys and other mammals such as sloths and capybara and the famous pink and grey river dolphins.
Day 7: Yarapa River | Boat expedition for piranha fishing and birdwatching expedition.
Day 8: Iquitos/Arequipa | Disembarking at Iquitos with a city walking tour followed by a flight to Arequipa “The White City” a glittering colonial gem surrounded by snow capped volcanoes.
Day 9: Arequipa/Colca Canyon | A morning Arequipa city tour followed by a breathtaking coach through the majestic Andes to overnight at Colca Canyon.
Day 10: Colca Canyon | One of the deepest canyons in the world and also one of the best places to observe Andean condors.
Day 11: Cape York | Zodiac cruise looking for narwhales, seals and polar bears.
Day 11-12: Puno/Suasi Island | From Colac Canyon a scenic drive by coach to Puno and then by boat to Suasi Island in Lake Titicaca for 2 nights at the exclusive Casa Andina ecolodge. Next morning we make a full day exploration of the lovely peaceful island and the surrounding Lake Titicaca area.
Day 13: Susai Island/Lima | After a morning visit to floating Uros and Taquile Islands to the end of the tour at Lima airport by way of Puno and Juliaca.
