The Ichobezi Safari Boat operates on a nightly rate in the manner of a floating hotel and stays can be booked for as many nights as desired as an attractive and more luxurious option to traditional safari camps for travellers wishing to combine a safari experience with a visit to Victoria Falls.
Transfers take ~10 mins by boat for those arriving at Kasane Airport whilst those from Victoria Falls and Livingstone International Airports take ~90 mins by road.
Guests are taken on a daily cruise through the magnificent Chobe National Park with its teeming wildlife where herds of elephants and an extensive array of other game such as buffalo, antelope, hippo, crocodiles, giraffe can be seen. The drier winter months of June through August see a greater concentration of game along the river banks whilst during the summer the birdlife explodes and good fishing is to be had all year round.
