MY Pegasus was completely refitted 2012 and has 21 air conditioned cabins in 3 categories each with twin or queen bed(s), en suite bathroom and ocean view window. Common facilities include a large sun deck, lounge bar, library zen spa and rear swim platform.
Itinerary highlights
Discover the Seychelles by small ship hopping from island to island to see the amazing fauna and flora. Snorkel or dive and watch an amazing underwater world. Walk through centuries old rain forests with unique wild life species of rare black parrots, the world famous Coco de Mer palm trees and giant land tortoises and take one or more of the optional excursions on offer.
Day 1: St Annes Island | Embarking in the afternoon we sail to nearby St Anne to overnight at anchor and enjoy a swim and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Curieuse Island | Early sail to this virtually uninhabited island to explore the mangrove forests, giant tortoise farm and leper colony ruins. The rest of the day is for water sports or simply relaxing on the island’s beautiful beach and a BBQ under the trees. Overnight at anchor
Day 3: Cousin & Anne Lazio | Early sail to Cousin Island with optional excursion to the Bird Sanctuary. A quarter million birds breed on Cousin which also has several nesting beaches for turtles. Later in the afternoon we reach Anse Lazio one of the most beautiful beaches in the world for water sports, snorkelling or optional diving. Overnight at anchor.
Day 4: Aride to St Pierre and Baie St Anne Praslin | Sail to Aride for an optional excursion to the top of the island home to the Wright’s gardenia and to bird species like the Audubon’s shearwater, the Seychelles warbler. At noon sail to St Pierre Island and after lunch a 3 hour snorkeling and swimming stop leaving St Pierre at sunset to sail into Baie St Anne, Praslin to overnight at the dock with a “Creole” night.
Day 5: Felicite & La Digue | Arriving passengers embark at 1pm then sail to Felicite for snorkelling swimming or optional diving excursion at this uninhabited island. Evening sailing to La Digue anchoring overnight in front of the port.
Day 6: La Digue & Moyenne Islands | All day excursion on La Digue, the most photographed and quaint community in the Seychelles. Oxcarts and Bicycles outnumber cars and our morning optional oxcart tour will take us to the picturesque Anse de Source d’Argent for a swim. Late afternoon sailing to Moyenne opposite Mahe with evening arrival and overnight at anchor.
Day 7: Moyenne Island – Mahe, Inter Island Quay | Short guided walk around the island and then a swim and beach BBQ leaving at noon for Mahe’s Victoria port Inter Island Quay for our farewell dinner with live music and dancing. Overnight in Mahe.
Day 8: Mahe (Victoria) | Cruise ends after breakfast with disembarkation.
