The Galapagos Archipelago is full of an incredible range of rare and interesting bird life such as the blue footed boobies, cormorants that no longer fly, and the famous Darwin finches as well as the more commonly found frigate birds, red footed boobies, penguins, storks, herons, flamingos etc. Marine animals abound including all manner of sea lions, dolphins, rays, sea turtles and iguanas etc plus rare land animals such as the land iguana and of course the Galapagos giant tortoise.
All 7 day cruises visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you can observe the efforts of scientists, guides, rangers and park managers to preserve this UNESCO World Heritage Site followed by a coach trip to the highlands to see the giant tortoises in the wild.
